Garden of Dreams

come play with me in Garden of Dreams
i can take you there
with words indeed

a land of magic doth await
round corners you may have to go
slip between the king and queen

sitting on their thrones they be
shoulder to shoulder
knee to knee

but if you are clever
and i am sure you are
drop down you can
in front of them~~~

POrtals of ironwork then appear
tendrils green do cover them
leaves of red and gold on ground
onto a pathway strewn are they
autumn has come~~~

you walk
and in your minds eye see
Garden of Dreams
filled it is with flowers and plants
soft lullabies are played~~~

a purpled substance fills the air
sweet yet pungent everywhere
and in your ear you hear a call
take time to be with you my dear~~~

upon a mossy bank you lay
a tinkling stream nearby
your eyelids droop
then you do sleep
and dream and dream and dream~~~

and enter into Garden of Dreams....
